Senior Adult Ministry of Shepherd of the Hills Presbyterian Church
In our ministry with older adults, we are committed to carrying out Jesus' Great Commission by:
- Inviting seniors into the fullness of life in Christ in community, by reaching out to seniors in the surrounding neighborhoods and retirement villages with God's love, bringing them into the life of the Church
- Proclaiming God's love by constructing personal enrichment opportunities to encourage discipleship through personal enrichment opportunities, recognizing all that God has done and is doing in our lives
- Creating a compassionate community of faith in celebration, cultivating spiritual growth and maturity in affirming the value of the aging process as a natural progression of freedom and change
- Engaging members in life-changing service through commitment, to motivate, equip and empower members to work for Christ in the world, promoting the faithful witness and life experience of seniors
