Habitat For Humanity All-Faith Build 2011

Shepherd of the Hills will join many other churches in Austin for the November 5th weekend Ecumenical Build of a Habitat for Humanity home. SHPC is looking for 10 volunteers (and a few alternates) to help build a homes for the Fabela & Pineda families.
Our build date is Saturday, November 5th (8 am until 4 pm).
Through volunteer labor and donations of money and materials, Habitat builds simple, decent houses alongside the homeowner families. Austin Habitat for Humanity's mission is to build homes in partnership with families and engage our community to end the cycle of poverty housing. It builds housing for hardworking families whose current housing is substandard, overcrowded and cost-burdensome. Last year, 25 families achieved their dream of home ownership through Austin Habitat for Humanity.
