Children At the Lord's Table

In the Presbyterian Church, all baptized children are welcome to participate in communion even before they are confirmed. In light of this practice, we will be offering a workshop on communion and baptism for children who are in the 2nd through 5th grades.

Our CHILDREN AT THE LORD'S TABLE workshop will be offered this fall as part of the "Wednesday Night Live" programming on February 15, 22, 29, March 21 & 28 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the Family Ministry Center.

During the workshop, we will discuss the meanings of both baptism and communion, and we will do it in fun and creative ways! We’ll play a few games and hear from the pastor and other church leaders. We know children can have a difficult time understanding church sacraments, but we hope they will have a better appreciation after our time together. At the end of the workshop, there will be time for the children to meet the members of session to share what they learned.
