KidStuf
In addition to UpStreet on Sunday, we offer KidStuf on one Wednesday night per month between
January and May, and again between September and December. KidStuf is where kids take their parents to learn. It’s a fast, noisy, zany, multimedia, kid-focused, parent-centered, virtue-driven 45-minute extravaganza. KidStuf is the best way for parents to catch up on what we talked about on UpStreet so they can keep on talking about it all month long.
KidStuf is a family production based on the monthly virtue being studied. Because it is family-oriented, at least one parent, grandparent or caregiver must attend with a child. Our goal is to provide a high-energy environment designed for parents and kids to enjoy a shared experience and grow in faith and character. KidStuf complements the teaching done during UpStreet on Sunday mornings and allows us the chance to give you as parents new tools to continue teaching lessons of faith the other six days of the week.
Basically, KidStuf is a 45-minute weekly program that uses music, drama, and storytelling to entertain and inspire—you won’t want to miss it! The KidStuf extravaganza runs from 6:30-7:15 p.m. We’d love to see all of our families commit to make these a priority since they’re a wonderful way for parents and children to grow in faith together.
Although KidStuf is specifically designed for elementary children, we are more than happy to have preschoolers and their parents come along, too. Please note, however, that only children attending grades kindergarten through 5th grade are allowed to sit in the front floor area near the stage. Any preschool-age children in attendance must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times and are respectfully requested not to enter the area designated specifically for elementary children for safety purposes. We look forward to seeing you at the show!
Mark your calendars now to attend all of our 2011-2012 KidStuf productions!

*What are all these "Times" about? Deuteronomy 6:6-9! "6 These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. 8 Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. 9 Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates."
