SHPC Book Group

The Adult Ministry sponsors book group meetings, focusing on books with theological/spiritual connotation. The evening group meets the second Thursday in each month at 7:00 in Room 7 (library during the summer); the daytime group meets the third Thursday of each month at noon in the church library, with an optional bag lunch. If you are interested in joining or learning more about the groups, contact Margaret Nakamura (evening group), Thelma Morris or Annie Ward (daytime group), or contact the church office at church (AT) shpc.org or 892-3580.

Special Event!

Meet the author (Daphene Jones) of the newly released book, Our Southern Breeze on February 2 at 2 pm in the church library. The book is a "true story of forgiveness and second chances." Daphene tells the story about her life as the twin sister of Deborah Hall of Same Kind of Different as Me. This is their story of overcoming even the darkest times of life through redemption, forgiveness, and second chances. To reserve a spot, please contact Annie Ward at 373-8803 or email ron-annie (AT) att.net.
